LATUDA for Bipolar Depression

Latuda® (lurasidone HCl) is a once-a-day prescription medicine for bipolar depression that has shown to be effective in adults, and in children and teens (10 to 17 years) on its own and in adults also taking lithium and valproate. LATUDA is taken once a day, any time of day with food (at least 350 calories), because food helps the body absorb the medicine. More information about LATUDA.

Help Them Stay on Treatment

Medications like LATUDA tend to work gradually, so it may take some time for you and your loved one to notice improvements. That’s why it’s important for them to take LATUDA exactly as prescribed, and not to stop taking it without speaking with their health care provider. Daily reminders, gentle encouragement, and keeping a calendar or journal can really help your loved one stay on track.
